Hi everyone! I was up all night trying to find info so I am sorry if this question has been addressed elsewhere.
I was dx in Nov 2008 with a 5mm herniation my symptoms (like most) are all over the place but mostly controlled with meds till now. I’ve always had bladder problems and had a spinal fusion of L5/S1 back in 2006 due to a hemisacrialization, a deformity of my spine I was born with but didn’t start hurting until my car accident in 2001. Anywho, now I am having more bladder problems. I have to go almost every hour or so if I actually drink liquid. At night I am up at least twice. In the last three months my tailbone and left hip have been very painful. Has anyone experienced tailbone pain from Chiari 1 or know if it could be related?

Welcome to your new family here where you will find support, comfort, resources and a new family that will care for you along your chiari journey. I am so sorry to hear what you are going through and I cannot really answer your question for you yet but I just had an MRI done because of incontinence issues and I told the doctors that it was like my bone was hurting and the lumbar spinal MRi showed a herniated disc same as yours. So, I am going to make an appointment with my neurosurgeon to see what that means and I will get back with you. I am sorry but that is the best that I can do.
