I know this is not medical advice, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me what they see on my MRI. I've had some doctors say Chiari, and others say migraines. Just wondering if I should continue this battle or move on.

Loss of curve in my neck, and that my spleen was enlarged.
I definitely agree with all the others here. It really doesn't matter the actual anatomy or herniation as the effects it has. Some people may live 100 years with a 15mm herniation and never have ANY symptoms or someone with 2mm herniation can have a blockage in CSF flow. In my area, NS consider anything over 5mm "symptomatic" but will also treat less than if it is causing symptoms.
My very first brain MRI report had ZERO mention of any herniation. I took those images to a larger hospital and a NS who specialized in Chiari and minimally invasive treatments. He was SHOCKED that my original report read that the only thing to note was some mild sinusitis. He said that I have a 10mm herniation and significant sinus damage.
This is just to show you that sometimes what one doctor doesn't see is very obvious to someone who knows exactly what to look for. Definitely check out the doctors listed and talk to the member who recommended them ((PLEASE NOTE: Please don't discuss negative remarks regarding physicians or hospitals by name.
