So I went to the Chiari Institute in great neck, ny, I saw a very nice neurosurgeon dr. Insingnia. He told me that I do not have Chiari and recommended I see a neurologist for further testing…I’m just so frushtrated and tired of feeling in pain…anyone have any suggestions???
Wow! I'm sorry to hear that--not sorry that you don't have Chiari, but sorry you're facing the madness of still having to chase down the correct diagnosis. Why did he say it wasn't Chiari? What ruled it out for him?

Not since 2012 this dr said it doesn’t change…I’m seeing a neuro tomorrow so we will see
He said the MRI was read wrong. My symptoms are severe headaches from back of neck to behind my ears fell like a vice…dizziness, nauseous, ringing/hollowness in ears … I appreciate your help…

I dunno if this helps but i am still having headaches in my neck, back of head, jaw, ear and temple.
And I think it's from TMJ.
I have been taking 400mg of magnesium glycinate at night (it makes you sleepy) and it does seem to help along with a mouth guard. It doesn't completely help but I am going to a TMJ specialist as soon as I feel a little better and can drive over there.
I don't grind I clench in my sleep.
It could also be a host of other things.

PS: I thought you could have Chiari symptoms without having much herniation at all.
I am very curious about it and would get a 2nd opinion if possible and maybe a different MRI if they can. Weird he said it doesn't change cuz many members have said theirs HAS changed over the years and got worse.
