I had surgery on October 15 at Good Samaritan hospital in Cincinnati.
Hi Anglyn! I am new to this site and as I read through posts, I’m just marveling at all the info, people’s candidness, and really beautiful support. It’s extremely heartening to read so many seemingly strangers supporting and gently guiding one another. I’m so grateful to you and others for sharing your experiences. I’ve been trying to negotiate life for the past 12 years with pretty challenging symptoms and I’m always contemplating the risks vs. rewards of surgery. Everyone’s experiences are so unique and, short of actually going through with the surgery, hearing from fellow chiarians like you is really helpful as part of the evaluation process. May I ask how you did come to the final decision to have surgery? I would also like to ask how you’re feeling now? Sending you positive, healing thoughts,

How wonderful! Thanks for posting. I have my decompression on Monday and hearing positive stories is very helpful!
