I had an appointment with a rheumatologist on 7/22. It is official....I have fibromyalgia. She took some blood to make sure I don't have any chronic inflammatory diseases like lupus, rheumatoid arthritis.
This is just great. I now have another illness that the medical community doesn't quite get.
Ouch, sorry to hear that, Nykki. I haven't met a lot of people that have fibromyalgia (some, but not a lot), but I've been told it can be problematic. Hopefully they'll be able to help you with getting it under control, at least somewhat. Good luck, and hope you feel better soon!
