Now im not afraid of the surgery anymore. Now I dont think my insurance is going to pay for my surgery.
Have you tried to appeal their decision? If not, it might be worth a try. If I’m remembering correctly, TracyZ use to work for an insurance company. She could probably give you some great input.
anytime an insurance company denies a request, you can write an appeal. Usually, you need to write a letter asking the insurance company to grant your request. It must be directly from you and explain what the procedure is, why you need it and include how this illness has impacted your life and how the surgery will benefit you, your health and your life. Make sure you include the medical codes from the doctors office for every procedure and the length of the hospital request. I would also call the insurance to get the expedited appeal address or fax number and verify what their appeal procedure is. Think information that I am giving is just from my experience with working in the medical claims department. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
good luck & hugs
