Hello out there in Chiari land...I fell down again today and as I was laying there looking up at the sky I was thinking..."I hope noone saw that" and "I wonder if other people with Chiari fall down too". So, feedback please...do you fall down and how often? It's so embarassing...:/ This is the second time this week.
I still have that happen about once a week, but i think it's because my leg just decides not to work

I fall a lot! Always have my whole life. I fall like a tree. I don't have that reflex that says put out your arms. It all happens in slow motion and I try to will myself to put them out but it never works. I end up falling flat on my face. I've broken quite a few teeth over the years because of it. I now use a stick when I leave the house. It's not a cane so it makes me feel a little better but it has helped imeasurably in cutting down on my falling so I don't care what it looks like. It's not fun but I always try and joke about it so my kids aren't freaked out.
