My husband and I are going to Maui next month for our honeymoon and I'm concerned about snorkeling or going to deep in the water due to the pressure change. Has anyone had experience with diving, snorkeling or swimming? Good or bad?? How about zip lining? This is a once in a lifetime trip and I've always wanted to zipline but I'm afraid that may not be a good idea. Thank you for any input you guys can offer!!
Congratulations! You'll have an awesome trip! I haven't been scuba diving since my surgery (I only haven't been diving becasue I really don't care for it--I'd ask your doc about it!) I have been snorkeling and zip lining! We had a blast! I had no issues. Just be safe and enjoy yourselves!
Congrats and enjoy the trip! I am heading to the Philippines in a week and plan on ziplining then :D But I will admit it's a very slow zipline (which is fine by me!) I can't speak about snorkeling or scuba, sorry. But have a GREAT trip!
I know the thing that I am concerned about is the loooooong plane trip. I know its going to be rough but totally worth it.
Before my diagnosis, I went on a cruise last year and we did snorkeling. I didn't have any significant issues, some dizziness (which I couldn't explain at the time, but now duh! lol)
I was specifically told by my NS... No diving into a pool or deep water diving, & was also warned agains amusement park rides, I guess that ziplining may be dangerous. I snorkle. It's very easy & lots of fun. We rode 4 wheelers on the beach & in the jungle. You are going to have so much fun. Don't concentrate on things that you can't do. Concentrate on things you CAN do. I promise You are going to Have so Much fun !!!!! Please bring back lots of stories & pictures.
