Hey all! I just wanted to update you on my progress. I have been referred over to UCLA and i have an appt on the 2nd of September. It is with a neurologist,however she does not specialize in chiari. My goal is to try and have this NL refer me to UCLA’s Neurosurgery Dept. They have a Chiari Malformation Program but you need a doctor to refer you in order to be seen and the NL here where i live will not refer me to this neurosurgery program. I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me. I am afraid that this NL with just want to give me pain medication and send me home. I am tired of taking medication and i feel that it is time to try other forms of treatment. Some advice on questions i could ask would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
