It's nearly 2 months post-op and I feel healthier than I have ever felt. I still have nystagmus and my scar is pretty sore still, but I've gained more mobility and I don't remember the last time I had a headache because of Chiari which feels so awesome. I wanted to post an update and thank everyone for the positive vibes, well wishes, and advice when I was struggling!

That's great that you are pleased with your symptom relief and your progress post-surgery. There is lots you can do about scar management for tenderness and pain so hopefully that will resolve soon enough! Cheers!

So happy to hear you are doing well after your surgery. My 23 yr old son is scheduled for surgery 2/24/16 and I am scared to death for him. Was there anything in particular besides medication that eased your pain or gave you comfort. As an R.N. I could only imagine the discomfort.
