Got my radiology report on my CINE and am curious if any of yours were similar and if it led to surgery. Also, does it mean anything significant to any of you?
Thanks for your input a head of time!
Here goes;
"CSF flow appears reduced posterior to the tonsils, mildly reduced inferior to the tonsils and reduced posterior to the upper cervical cord. Flow appears mildly reduced through the foramen of Magendie.
CSF llow appears normal anterior to the pons, normal anterior to the medulla and normal anterior to the cervical cord."
Thanks Beeba....because I live so far from him, the plan was for him to call me when he looked at it or whatever he needs to do. The scan and the radiology report went to him on Friday, so if i don't hear from him by tomorrow, I will call. It will be interesting what he sees, because when I look at the CINE, there are spots that I see no flow at all, but I ain't the doctor...haha...although about now, i wish I was.
I am curious how many people didn't show totally blocked and surgery helped them...do you have any idea having been on the boards longer than me?
I have had so many doctors and tests that came back "normal" (until chiari was discovered), that I have to admit, I am paranoid that another doc will say it's not that bad, when I know it is...I feel just awful.
I feel more neurotic than I have in a long time...haha...I will do much better when I have some sort of a solid gameplan.
