Brain Fog and inability to focus

I recently went back to full time Accounting work as previously discussed in my last posting. I thought at first I was just nervous about the return after 2 yrs. I love the work but it seems that I can’t remember much and my organization and focus is gone. Now the frustration has set in and has left me in tears. Do to this headaches have begin to set in again and caused me to walk out today. I’m at a loss and don’t know what to do.

I find it very hard to focus at work. I'm also an accountant. I seem to have good and bad days. Not a lot helps on bad days though. In my spare time I try to do things like crossword puzzles because I think it helps me focus. Also on days I can tell I'll have issues I try to minimize any and all distractions and only work on the task at hand. On good days I try to get as much done as possible in the hopes that there will be less to do on low focus days! I know I don't really have any helpful advice but I just wanted you to know you aren't alone!

You are not alone.I am ,or have been,a musician (keyboards , computers etc) for a very long time, and it has been a part of our family income.I could not understand why my memory and general abilities were declining by a great amount. Then I received my diagnoses for Chiari. After reading a lot, and watching videos about this condition , I think I am sure that CM is the main reason.I know this does not help you in your problem, but sometimes knowing that you`r not the only one, seems to give some hope, and that people are out there working very hard to understand this condition, and ultimately find a cure.I have lost a terrible lot in regard to my music, but I have gained much from contacting people , such as yourself, who also suffer from CM.

Lots of luck.
