Bladder issues

I suffer with bedwetting… and ive been on desmopressin for 2months now with no effect… other than producing less urine at night… i still manage to wet the bed (though it is a smaller amount)

does anybody else have bladder issues that affect you in this way?

I see my NS tomorrow… and ive decided against the surgery right now (just because i cant mentally cope with the recovery)

did surgery stop your night time issue?

I have control issues... I was so mortified, I never told my husband or doctor. I just tried to limit my laughing, sneezing, coughing, etc. It's all come out now that we're talking about Chiari. I haven't had surgery yet, either. I don't know if there's anything that can be done right now, if it's due to the Chiari - certain nerves are compressed and that's why your bladder doesn't know when it's okay to empty and when it's not. I also have a lot of pain when my bladder is full, and pain when it empties too quickly, but I'm pretty sure that's because I have endometriosis and there's a lot of scar tissue built up in my abdomen. If it's not one thing, it's another, right?

Good luck, I hope things work out for you!
