Hello, I hope that all have had a pain free day today! I was wondering are there anyone out there that have or considering trying alternative medicine for Chiari symptoms instead of the meds most of us take now? Are there any out there for the all of our symptoms?

I would like to be able to, but don't know if it would be an option for me because of my pain level. I do know a Oriental Medicine Specialist that I saw for a while for acupuncture and nutritional counseling & massage. He said he could control my pain and headaches through acupuncture and oriental herbs. They just aren't covered by insurance at this time and it was very expensive, so I haven't gone any farther with it. There are Homeopaths and Naturopathic Physicians. I am sure Wendyanne and Emmaline can tell you more about their possibilities and treatments than I can. Arnica has been an unbelievable addition to my Medicine controlling muscle pain and stiffness. I even use it on my head for headaches and have unfortunetly had to use it for bruises recently. That is what has made me very interested.
