I have been MIA for a looong time! Struggling with returning issues and family stuff.
Well wouldn’t you know that my Chiari symptoms are returning. 
So very frustrating after the long recovery time.
I may have a slip and or Intracranial Hypertension. MRI is tmrw. I am taking Fiorinal for my headaches. I can’t sleep if I don’t take it. Will it affect the results of my MRI (As in reduce swelling and improve CSF flow)? I’d hate to have a false negative because I cannot take the Fiorinal much longer. It’s a controlled substance and addictive.
I agree with Nykki-I wouldn't take it just to be safe. It really would be awful if you had a false negative because of a medication! :/ Hopefully it's in the morning and you can take it after...

Car battery is dead. Luckily I got a ride.
My MRI was very short-15 min. w/no contrast. But it was exceptionally painful and the pressure was horrible.
Sitting upright helps and I have permission to take Excedrin Migraine a few times a day and the Fiorinal at night as needed.
Sitting/sleeping on recliner with cat on lap.
The meds are helping with the intense pressure. Thanks for your time and advice!
