I just had my first appointment with my neurosurgeon, besides waiting for two hours, I was thankful for his thouroughness. He spent a half hour asking me questions, and another 20 minutes or so looking at my MRI's. Because of the size of the cyst in my spine (goes from c4-c7) he said we should get surgery done as soon as possible. I AM SO GRATEFUL that I was listened too, and taken serious. I wasn't given the run around! I feel so bad for many of you on here that have had to go through so many hoops. I have been very fortunate in my diagnosis, and now my decompression..(its happening on the 22nd of this month!) So wish me luck...and good luck to all in finding relief with the awful disorder!

They said they would call me on Friday to give me when I go in for pre op! So probably beginning of next week I would think!
