My doctor prescribed this after my decompression surgery in November 2011. I take 50 mg at night! I still have trouble falling asleep but once I’m asleep I’m OUT!
I took a small dose before I was diagnosed with chiari for weight loss purposes. It didn't help lol The thing that helps me sleep is 5 mg of melatonin.

I’ve been taking it for a few years because my dr’s thought i was just suffering from terrible migraines…of course now we’ve discovered it’s not migraines. I haven’t had bad side effects or anything and it served me well for headaches for quite sometime. I’m pre-surgery though so it may be serving another purpose for your headaches, etc… good luck with it =)
I'm taking six (6) 50 mg tabs each night before bedtime, My pain mgt Doc is hoping they will help with my headaches. I had decompression In Oct of 2011. I'm not sure if they are doing any good- I started with 2- a few months ago and have worked my way up to 6 and haven't really seen any improvement, but they do help with my appetite (I've lost almost 40 lbs!)
I started taking this. I take 4 before bedtime. Before taking these I had headaches and other minor symptoms (tingling, dif swallowing, etc.), now I can barely get around without being dizzy all the time. I am nauseous and can barely see straight, I can't lift my head for long periods of time, I am more sensitive to noise, I still have headaches and I understand it will take a while before it will prevent the HA. I am scared to drive. Have you had any of these S/E?
