I went to the local nuerosurgery appointment today as recommended by my regular physician. It went as expected. He said I did not have Chiari. That everyones tonsils sit on or just below the level of the foramen magnum and that he did not see my herniation at all. ???He did not mention a retroflexed odontoid or pannus.
He did seem to think I needed surgrey on my c5-c6 herniated disk. But he said that would not fix all my other symptoms.
I’m just going to sit back and relax and wait to see if I hear from a chiari specialist.
