I keep seeing stuff about the CINE-MRI, and it seems it gives the same information that a spinal tap will do. I am worried this physician is going to put me through pain for no reason. What can a spinal tap show that this MRI wont? All I know is I have a 5mm herniation from the MRI I had of my brain, there was no other MRI done on my neck or spine. Is the spinal tap to check for something else? Im just really paranoid about this! HELP! Has anyone else had to have a spinal tap for Chiari reasons?
