Hello! I am a chiari patient since 2012. Two prior surgeries and still having my weird dizzy spells which they believe are brain stem seizures. I just had another MRI done yesterday that states that my tonsils extend to C1, but doesn’t show and compression or CSF issue ( assuming because I have had prior surgeries). My question is should one be concerned with the tonsils sitting at C1 even if there doesn’t seem to be any compression. I have alot of neck discomfort especially with looking up and wonder if this maybe why. I can’t lay for a length of time with anything pressing on my lower head either without it causing me headaches. I follow up with my neurologist tomorrow but thought any insight with my fellow chiari friends would be great.
