I had a P.F.Decompression and Duroplasty in late June 2013 ,Op took 8hrs so was not expecting the Dr to tell me on Tuesday that my 1st post op MRI showed the cerebral tonsils were 8mm descended , they were 15mm when I had the surgery so definitely didn't expect that and to make it worse the Dr filling in for my local Dr couldn't pronounce it and looked at me weird when I said I was shocked. I am wondering now if maybe I have tethered chord as I've never had a full brain and spinal scan , would it show up on a Lumbar/sacral CT scan as I had one of those done just prior to the MRI but haven't received the report on that one , they didn't send a copy of that to my local Dr. Any information on Tethered Chord and its symptoms would be really appreciated. I had wondered if things were going backwards as my double vision has gotten so bad it cannot be corrected fully with my glasses plus a few other things seemed to be going backwards but I didn't expect it to be that bad.
