I called my NS's office this morning and since he was in surgery I got his medical assistant. I explained that my arm was slightly numb, I can still feel everything, hot, cold, pinching, etc, it just feels dull and kind of warm. She took a look at my MRI results and said that there is no extra axial fluid, no mass effect, no hemorrhaging. When I asked what that means she said it means there is no obstruction to my CSF and my 7mm herniation is putting pressure on anything. Is that right? Is that what that means? I know I ask a lot of questions on here, but i'm trying to understand things better. She said based on my MRI my NS may want to take a watch and wait approach since it isn't causing any damage but she said he will talk to me about all of that on Thursday.
