Has anyone with CM had involuntary eye movements before your decompression and had this resolved after the surgery?
My eyes will suddenly fly over to one side, especially when working on the computer and then looking at papers.
Also I started blurred vision in college and they have slowly gotten worse. Is the symptom of blurred vision more of a sudden thing, or slowly progresses?
I have vision problems from cranial pressure when my CSF was blocked. I would definitely see an eye Dr. Have you noticed any thing other than working on the computer that causes problems?
I did see an eye doc about it over a year ago before I knew I had the CM. He said that he can’t see anything wrong with my eyes. I just wear contacts/glasses.
I found out from a NS that CM can have that effect on the eyes. I have noticed it when I am looking at someone when they are talking to me. It’s not as drastic as when I am on the computer, but it feels like I have to keep re-adjusting my eyes. I also have a kink in my brain stem from things being so tight.
So many symptoms can come with a CM I’m finding out. I’m just hoping all or at least most mine disappear after the decompression surgery.
Razzle, I’m glad yours is gone! Heidi sorry yours isn’t. I guess it just differs from person to person and u really just have to wait and see what stays with u and what clears up.
