I’m currently uninsured, have no income, and am two years overdue for my annual MRI. Does anyone know of any charities out there that assist with zero income patients who are awaiting a decision from the SSA for disability benefits that will assist with covering the costs of an MRI? Any advice would be very much appreciated. Also, are there any charities that assist with everyday expenses such as utility payments for those of us affected by syringomyelia and/or chiari malformation? Please help…
I don’t qualify for Medicaid because I have a pending SSI claim. My actual diagnosis is syringomyelia.
