Low blood pressure, dizziness and cold spells (and I mean COLD SPELLS!!!)
Just curious if anyone else has experienced these symptoms and what their doctors suggested for testing and/or treatment? I have heard of tilt table testing...what does that involve and has it given anyone definitive answers?
I typically have low pressure in general. I run anywhere from 98/54 to like 106/62 as my normal average. I'm always dizzy, drives me insane. And typically always cold, but lately yes I'm getting cold spells. The past few days, especially - where I just shiver and cannot get warm no matter what I do. I haven't asked my doctor specifically about it though... I sometimes feel as if someone is holding an ice pack against my shoulder blades.. I hate it!!
I was just wondering if my low-ish blood pressure could be caused by Chiari! It's just on the line of normal, 90/70, but doctors are amazed to see that given that I am morbidly obese and should be hypertensive. I am dizzy all the time, but I am never cold enough - I seem to have more intense hot flashes at 21 years old then my menopausal boss!
