Can Hypothyroidism be caused by Chiari? I have recently been diagnosed with it, but forgot to ask the NL if it could be related and haven't had a follow up appointment with him yet.

Thank you for your replies..I have not had surgery, I apparently am not a candidate yet :(
Carmele, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism two years before I was diagnosed with Chiari. It was right around the time my symptoms started.
I didn't know that Emmaline..I will have to talk to the NL about that!
