5mm is the size of my herniation. Chiropractor tried to help me, didn’t know I had Chiari. I believe he brought out my symptoms, I’m not angry with him; at least now I know what has caused my 20 pain in my muscles, joints and my insomnia and fatigue. My severe neck pain started in Nov of last year. I got so bad it felt as if my shoulders up my neck and to my face was on fire. Actually felt as if someone was choking me. ENT scoped my throat and airway is fine. Arthritis doc did slew of bloodwork-all fine! ENT did cervical X-ray and c2 is out if line with c3. Went to pcp and demanded something for my pain and an MRI. Starting to think I was crazy, doc I think thought I was a nut case. But now I have my answer. 20 years back I remember going for cortisone injections in my neck and back. Everything is finally starting to make sense. Scared to death, but now I have z cause!
