"Can anyone tell me if their surgery helped lower their high blood pressure?"

No, I was hoping it would. My BP started creeping up after I had my youngest daughter @ 39. Since I was nursing her, I was able to hold off on taking BP meds for another year. I started taking meds just as my Chiari symptoms were making themselves known. I really hoped surgery would have helped. I take two meds daily, one for high bp and one for high heart rate.
Maybe that wasn’t a Chiari symptom for me since surgery relieved all my other symptoms.

Hi Diana,

I have always had low blood pressure. I did research CM & High Blood Pressure. Apparently, both High & Low Blood Pressure do go hand in hand with CM. I also found a link for a post by Mary Anderson where she was having problems with her blood pressure.
