Happy to be here!

Hi everyone, I am new here and just wanted to share a little of my story with y’all. I was diagnosed with CM 9 or so years ago, a diagnoses that no doc in my small town had ever heard of. I went to see a specialist, went over pros and cons of surgery and decided to " tough it out"…I’m exhausted and now ready to tackle this head on (no pun intended). My next few weeks will consist of new Neurologist, MRI, blood work…new meds, maybe but they never seem to help long term.
What I would love some input on is what if anything y’all have found to help with the pain, fatigue and daily Chiari headaches that never seem to end.
Feel free to comment, message me or just say hello!

Hi, I'm glad you joined! :) I don't have strong pain and I barely have headache. Now that I think, I used to have headache a lot maybe until less than a year ago. then my fatigue got so bad that I haven't had the energy to clean my home for around 5 months. And since I'm barely moving now, I don't get those headaches anymore. I think. But if I do get one, then it's like from tense muscles in the neck/shoulder area. I take something ibuprofein like or use icepacks. Muscle relaxants also help.
