I am a year and a half post surgery and now have fluid in the area. Went to ns today and he said that it is normal. Is this correct? I have a MRI next Tuesday to check on the syrinx.
Sorry but I am not sure where your fluid is or how its presence was determined or when it arrived. Did the neurosurgeon have anything else to say about this fluid?
My orthopedic doctor found it on a MRI. It is just is to the right of the tonsils. To him it is normal. I do not think it is. Why would fluid be collecting in one area. The tonsils have enough room now.
