Does anyone else feel marginalized when called an "incidental finding"?

Why are doctors so confident that Chiari or Atlanto-occipital assimilation, or whatever findings that affect the cranio-cervical junction are incidental findings and are not related to the wide variety of strange neurological symptoms that have no other reasonable explanation!!!!! Ergggghhhhh!

just had that happend to me today...but i am optimistic i will find a doctor that is going to say"yes this all makes sense and you are not crazy" I had a viral infection as the onset of my Chiari nightmare so we are now on a viral hunt that is some where hidden in my brain i guess...so frustrated

Yep. My NS thinks my headaches are the only thing caused by the Chiari. She thinks my many, many other symptoms (from memory issues, speech issues, vision issues, etc) are all caused by my weight. Showing her studies about Chiari has gotten me absolutely nowhere.
