I tried to get the degree of blockage of my CFS from my MRI from last month today but they couldn't tell me. I have my second opionion NS appointment on Monday and I want to make sure I have all of the correct questions for this doctor ready. What should I say to him? The lady on the phone said that my Chiari is 6mm-7mm and that the CSF is decreased. I just dont understand why they wouldnt put a percentage on it or say how decreased it is. Any thoughts?
Yeah I find that strange as I was told what the pressure was and that it was more than 2 times the normal pressure, I am sure that the NS can tell you how much. I dont know about percentages though.
Ive had a spinal tap done before when I went to the hospital a couple months back.. I think they said the pressure was fine. Maybe im not wording this right. i dont think i meant to say the pressure but blockage. The percentage of blockage? Does that make more sense?
