I’m new here. I wanted to find out how long it takes to regain sensation in my left arm and leg. It’s the worst feeling. I had surgery on Friday. I’m home now , just making sure I have facts. My surgery went well. It did take 6 hours because of all my compression , but other than that i did really well. Just want my body back to normal. I’m a single mom of a 5 year old.
I am a mom of a 5 year old extremely active autistic boy and am wondering how recovery went for others as well. I am in the deciding whether to have surgery phase now.
I know this is an old post, but maybe others will read it. My recovery was about 3-4 months before I was able to function normally and about 6 months before I could get back to work (construction) with limited activity. I’m sure everyone is a little different though
