Could this be a CSF Leak?

Recently, my sense of smell has been way off. Scented soap and other things that normally smell good now smell like bad garlic (not exactly sure what bad garlic smells like, but that's the best way I know how to explain the scent.)

I do get a little bit of a runny nose from time-to-time, but wouldn't think twice of it if I didn't know that it was a symptom of a CSF leak.

Could this be a sign of a CSF leak?

By the way, I had decompression surgery on February 21, 2013.

Thanks,

Norm

My headaches have subsided just recently and, overall, I am feeling pretty good. It's really just the smell thing that has me thinking there might be something going on. Also, I just had a metallic taste in my mouth today. I have an appointment with an ENT Dr. tomorrow just to be safe, but wanted to check with others to see if they have experienced something similar. Thanks for the reply.

I was warned by my NS that that could happen, for me though it did’t,so it must be something that can happen so maybe there’s not a problem. It’s good that you will be seeing a ENT so it can be checked out.

I didn’t have that experience. My surgery was March 25th
