Costs for surgery

Hi all,

I want to thank all of you who have responded to my previous posts, it has helped me a lot!!

Can anyone tell me what the expected cost is for the surgery? I have insurance, but I am not sure how much they cover, or if they will cover at all. I need to speak with them still, but in the meantime, it would help to have some idea of what the costs might be.

The total cost for my surgery and related tests and hospital stay was around 126 Gs. My insurance covered all but 3500 in deductibles. This was for an in-network doctor. I chose the high deductible plan because it had a lower total out of pocket maximum. Good luck!
