Does anyone know if there is any connection between Chiari Malformation and Snoring. Ever since i was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation and started to show symptoms my family is complaining that I am snoring very bad. Never snored before. I have had decompression surgery and still snoring. Wanted to see if anyone else snores as part of being diagnosed with Chiari and if anyone has any suggestions on what to do. Family not happy with me snoring. :-(

Please keep in mind snoring may not necessarily be linked to your Chiari. If you haven’t yet, consider discussing it with your doctor since it seems a new symptom. You don’t want to attribute it to Chiari without excluding other underlying conditions that may exist. I have apnea which causes snoring, to name but one…
