The day is finally here where I get to see the neurosurgeon. I have my list of questions and symptoms all ready for him. I am so hoping to get some answers and hear what he has to say. My husbands mom (a nurse that worked on the neuro floor in a major hospital for years) spoke to a neurologist she has worked with for years so I am sure I will end up making an appointment with him too. She also suggested another neurosurgeon (that the neurologist told her about) and he is supposedly one of the best in Indiana he just happens to be in the same office that I go to today. So will see how this one goes and then maybe a second opinion from the other one. He has done Chiari research and I actually found some publications he did on it. So I am kind of relieved that maybe just maybe there is a good neurosurgeon in Indiana that will understand and knows a lot about it.
Last night I woke up 3 times choking.. literally woke up gasping for air and choking on my own spit I suppose. So no sleep and woke up with a migraine. I am at work for 4 hours then go to my appointment.
