5 week post op worries

Hey. This is my first time posting. Just looking for some feedback from those who havehad the surgery. I had my decompression surgery on 3rd of June. Before it I had occasional headaches but nothing major. What ended me up having an MRI and emergency surgery was bizarre numbness in my right arm and hand went numb and full of pins and needles, the centre of my face was also numb including the roof of my mouth and partly on my tongue. I was struggling to swallow. It was all very sudden and going by how quickly symptoms were progressing they decided on emergency surgery.

My question is should I still be feeling the exact same this amount of weeks later?? There is no difference in numbness and to go with it my headaches are still bad including the rushing sound in my ears. I can swallow ok now and my arm itself feel a bit better but the hand is still numb as is my face.

I know everyone heals at different times but im worried. My neurologist has a 22 week wait list before I can see her and ask these questions. The GP has never heard of it so they are less than useful.
