Writing letters of the alphabet

Has anyone had this??? Sometimes when I print, I flip letters. For example, p,b...d,b...u,n...g,q. I hardly ever write in cursive anymore, it ends up being a big scribble at the end. Doctors just look at me like I have a third eye. I also see spots all the time, have aura's and other vision problems. I was trying to read the other night and a field of my vision was distorted. It was the same with both eyes. I ended up just going to bed. I truly appreciate everyone here, It's great to meet people who understand you. :)

Hi Darla- I haven't written my letters like that but I tend to leave letters out of words. Like you, I no longer attempt cursive. I'm lucky if I can write a sentence without having to scribble most of it out. So frustrating. My biggest issue seems to be numbers. A good example was a couple yrs ago when I was filling out a job app, and I wrote a 6 instead of a 10 for the date because it was october. I did it three times and had to scribble it out. I was so embarassed, and didn't get the job. lol I wonder why(; As far as reading, my eyes tend to cross and all the words come together in a big blur. It's crazy, and reading the ballot during last yrs presidential election i could not get my eyes to stop doing that. Left the polls praying i voted for the right people! I'm learning to deal with it, but i know how you feel because something that used to be so simple no longer is. It's just a Chiari thing I guess ): Hang in there, and if u want to vent just let us know.

wondering what kind of oculomotor exercises there are to try. my daughter is only 6, so difficult to tell with the switching of the letters, as it is common among her age group. her teacher does have concerns about her writing and the pressure that she uses when she writes.

i flip letters around all the time, and i can't write cursive well any more, i have a easy 4 letter last name which i hate writing in cursive.
