I live on a farm and Iām around strong smelling chemicals a lot cause my dads a farmer. Certain farms smells and even the smell of semis on the interstate are bothering me terribly. It makes my headaches worse and feels as if my throat is closing in! Have you ever experienced anything like this? Did you wear a mask? Would you? Did anything help? Thanks!
I guess it makes sense my sense of smell is strong since all my other senses are diminishing!
I have similar issue and work in a fly tag factory (pesticide). I have heard that exposure to certain chemicals can actually be a cause of acquired Chiari.
I have always had issues with strong smells, loud noises, and bright lights. It got worse after I started having Chiari symptoms.
In my case every strong smell like oils, incents n smells like vanilla get me nauseous, n my headache worsens. The smell kinda lingers on the bridge of your nose. I try to avoid them as much as possible but a mask in your case would be a great idea. Try it out . Hope your pain free day is near
I use Astelin for environmental irritants. I have gone through allergy testing and shots. Household cleaners destroy my sinuses.
