My surgery date has been set for June 25th. I am do nervous, need lots of prayers and some positive thoughts. I hope this helps relieve some of the pressure. And I hope I am making the right decision.

Hey Andrea! I had surgery June 2nd and I already feel like it was one of the best decisions of my life. I know your nervous but if you can just think about the relief of symptoms you will have afterwards and stay positive that helps get you through this time. You will be so relieved after your surgery and believe me we put our selfs through so much stress anticipating the surgery. Just wanted to share with you that my pain after surgery didn’t go over a 5 and as long as you take your pain meds at a set time and muscle relaxers post op is manageable. It’s mostly irritating trying to get comfortable but my trick is a wedge pillow along with a happi pillow which is one of those pillows people use on airplane trips. It can snuggle perfectly in your neck and the wedge keeps you elevated. Best of wishes to you you’ll do great!
