Im new here but came across this thread and wanted to add my blog to it. Writing has been very therapeutic for me but I don't update it nearly as much as I should!

I have a very large posterior fossa arachnoid cyst that I had surgery for in '05....too large to remove so they fenestrated it. That lead to needing a shunt 4 months later, and then a different doctor followed my shunt and he was horrible. He allowed it to overdrain for months, despite my cries and pleas for help when I started having horrible problems. Turns out the shunt was overdraining and my brain was falling, and I was developing a Chiari malformation. So that is how I got mine....acquired, and today I still live with all these conditions....including a very significant Chiari.

Anyways, I wrote a book about my journey - my memoir, titled, "It's all in Your Head." It's quite a story and people with either a Chiari or brain cyst that have read it, have really benefited from it.

So question.....would you maybe consider posting it on your page? You know, us help each other out? Maybe you would like to read it too so that you can blog about it....it may even help you....because you can relate to what I've been through too. Here is the link to it on Amazon:

Thanks Maria! I will post your book to my blog. It doesn't get a lot of traffic yet but more and more find it as time goes on. It may take a day or two to figure out exactly how to post but if it would be helpful to someone its worth adding!

I also followed your blog. It looks interesting and one I would defiantly have to read up on!
