It is with a broken heart i am posting here tonight. Ryan and I only found this site recently and have been in some very good discussions. Sunday morning at 2 am his body couldn't take anymore and he has passed due to complications from lovenox. A blood thinner he was on to prevent blood clots.One of my original post is Ryan's story for those of you that do not know about his struggle. I am sorry it has taken me so long to post but i haven't been able to get online. I take comfort in knowing he loved me so much and he didn't leave me willingly. He finally found a true family that loves him no matter what his past. He was a wonderful, unique person and the other half of my soul. I will continue to keep everyone here in my prayers. Thank you.
Kendra, I am so very sorry for your horrible loss. Thank you for staying by Ryan's side and helping him through all the suffering he went through due to Chiari. You made his life better and easier because he had someone on his side and was not suffering alone--like in the lives of a lot of Chiarians--who do not have the support of close friends and family members. Please let me know if there is anything I can try to do to help. I am homebound due to Chiari, but I can have a listening ear. Praying for you.

I am so sad to hear this news. My heart breaks for you and Ryan, you both fought so bravely and that has not gone unnoticed. I am praying for you, Kendra, that god gives you strength to handle this loss. I hope you can find moments peace through this, at least knowing that you are so cared for by your family here. We will not forget the struggle you and Ryan had, like Beeba said, it strengthens our mission to bring awareness to other chiarians, their families, and the medical professionals who look to find answers. You are part of this family and always will be. If it can give you any comfort at all please stay with us and continue to share your journey.

I am so very sorry. I know you loved each other very much. Even though you weren't members long we all enjoyed getting to know you & Ryan. You are both part of our Chiari Family. It hurts us all when we lose a Chiari Family Member. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Please know you are always welcome here & we will always be here for you. Always. Chiari takes so many incredible people. My heart broke when I read this. I wish I had some words of wisdom .......just know we share in your pain.
