How do I get a hold of a member?

When I first joined, I went thru the member list to see if there is anyone from Winnipeg here, and there is! I asked her/him to become friends, but the person never responded. If someone knows Smiley, can you please somehow let them know that I would like to talk to them? I would greatly appreciate it!
