I have syrinx’s down my spine, and I am just wondering if I will have more complications in surgery and recovery because of this? Anyone have Syrinx and had the surgery? Was it successful?
I had the surgery, and got some improvement in mobility and slightly decreased pain. My 3 syrinxi (?) did not drain, and I eventually had to go back and get a shunt put in. The decompression won't really be getting into your spinal cord, so it shouldn't really effect the syrinx.
