Feeling better question

Around a month ago I have progressively been feeling better. So much so I was on hydrocodon maybe four a day along with topamax . The month ago was a lp with a leakage and blood patch. Last weekend I drove my daughter on a college dance audition tour from San Antonio to Fort Worth to Tyler to Abilene and back to SA in four day and I FEEL FINE tired but fine. Since the blood patch I’ve been taking myself off of the hydrocodon now I take one per day and that’s usually for the back pain I feel like I could start running again. I have the headaches are cured with what I’m taking dr said to do surgery for headaches mine is scheduled for July should I just wait and see? Or call and ask any input I haven’t been on very much because I’m close to normal again oh oh AND I’ve opened up my business and my clients are pouring in!!! So I’ve also been doing some promoting reconnecting networking and just plain working

I agree with Beeba. Keep yourself on the schedule for July and just see how you feel up til then. For some reason I don't understand it seems these symptoms wax and wane over time. Hopefully you'll keep feeling fabulous!

That’s what I’ll do  I gives me a sense of false hope though. Of not having to have the surgery. We will see. You think it’s okay to start exercising? I’ve gotten soooo chubbola. Oh and I got a new prescription of contacts and I can see now :). Who knew I was spray tanning the ladies of my town BLIND!!! What were they thinking looking at each other ?? Bwhahaha. They look great now

I periodically have a few days with no headaches (a rarity for me) and I’ll lull myself into the false hope that I’m better, and then BAM a migraine smacks me out of nowhere and knocks me flat (like right now… Barely hanging on) and I’m crushed. But! I have high hopes for you! It sounds like you’re doing so well! I hope one day I can make a post similar to this- keep feeling better!

Thanks girl don’t get me wrong I tried to start weaning off the the meds and my neck started getting the permanent Charlie horse in it and I had a constant pressure in my head and between my shoulder blades so I need the topamax and hydrocodon but I’m down to three hydrocodon per day instead of every four hours and on good days none just ibuprofen 800 but the neurological stuff is all still front and center but I HATE the thought of having brain surgery because I forget and get confused. I’m so happy I have found a way to rule my life again I just want no more disruptions  I’m trying to build my business back up after having to shut it down and I will not be beat again. Now I need to get my body back in shape it’s all gross and flabby ugh

Hi....

I too, agree with the other folks who replied before I did....you can always cancel the surgery when it gets nearer...

You asked about exercise...Just my 2 cents...I would suggest you avoid any type of strenuous exercise that could bring on the dreaded Chiari h/a...

I have recently joined the gym and I ride the bike and walk at a good pace on the treadmill....I also use light weights for strengthening...I do NOT do Zumba, as there is a lot of jumping and bending at the waist. I take one class that is basically

for toning...we use light weights ..Personally, I just listen to my body and avoid then types of things that will possibly bring on Chiari Sx's.

Keep us updated on how you are feeling!
