My CINE MRI came back showing that I have a blockage. My neurosergent called me tonight to tell me about the blockage but he needed to review the actual MRI and set up a time to discuss with me. The doctor told me that my symptoms came on so fast and progressed quickly that it didn’t follow the classic Chiari pattern. What does that mean?

This is just my own opinion and personal experience…My Chiari symptoms were progressive…over years…I brushed many of the issues off as clumsiness , the severe head aches as migraines…the arm weakness and sensation changes I chalked up to an old elbow fracture…
I didn’t wake up one day and feel as rotten as I did before my surgery.
Maybe that is what he was talking about…BUT, I have seen folks here where their Chiari symptoms have indeed progressed at high speed…I think, once again…docs need to know that not all CM patients present the same.
