So I need some help here. I had my decompression surgery on March 18, my Chiari was worse then it appeared on the MRI and they ended up clipping some of the herniated brain out. My Husband believes that since that herniated section was clipped out there is no longer anything pressing on my spinal cord fluid. I am trying to convince him other wise. So here is there million dollar question...
ARE YOU EVER "CURED" OF CHIARI?
I believe that the surgery is just a way to stop the progression of the disorder. If anyone can answer this question please let me know....
I do plan on asking my NS at my post op but until just wanted everyone advise on here....
