Dear doctor Tumble and Group,
Please advise me for Aneeshas upcoming surgery for scoliosis after looking at the sleep apnea report…Have any of you here had sleep apnea and still had a long surgery? What are the risks involved in this? Is it safe to go ahead?

I have mild sleep apnea, but have not had any experience with surgery. I thought to post a resource from the Sleep Apnea Association here for you as it explains a bit about the risks as well as precautions that should be undertaken during surgery when a patient is known to have sleep apnea. Hi, i got diagnosed in febuary 2015 this year with chiari. I have also been offerd decompression surgery and i also suffer with sleep apnea,
I always wake up, see things wen im asleep and sleep walk. So now im.not sure what to do.and if to have surgery. Have you found more information on this sleep apnea ? sorrx i couldnt help more, wish you the best
