What a day to get the Norovirus

winter so far in the uk has been mild and wet, so the lovely norovirus is rife.

my 2yo daughter started the vomiting and diarrhea on saturday, then my wife on sunday night.by tuesday night id thought id dodged it.

then woke up yesterday throwing up terribly with the most horrendous stomach pains. the one day i didnt want it as i had an hours car journey to north liverpool to see a professor of rhumatology.

my neurosurgeon had sent me as he is worried that my hypermobolity may be something more serious like marfans syndrome, and he wanted to rule out potential problems with my heart, and also so he could decide what to do with my brain.

so now im awaiting an ultrasound on my heart, before i see him again on the 30th january. hopefully then he can send me back to the neurosurgeon to fix my head. im also seeing the neurologist on the 31st jan who discharged me from hospital in november after first saying i had a blood clot on my brain, before deciding its just migraines and vertigo.

that should be an interesting conversation!

after a lie down yesterday my stomach pain subsided, but my head was as bad as its ever been.moving my eyes hurt, it was as if my skull was goin to explode. feeling a bit better today though, back to normal neck/shoulder/headache.

thanks for being there everyone.
